Success! Pajama Jam 2023

Thank you to everyone who donated towards Pajama Jam 2023. because of you we were able to donate 141 bedtime attire that included PJ sets, PJ pants, socks and slippers that went directly to North Star Advocacy Center in Maryville MO. I am hoping to expand Pajama Jam to an event/drive and continue to advocate for those who can't. While I dropped off the items, Cindy the donations coordinator confirmed what inspired Pajama Jam, which is that people who are victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, when leaving or escaping just leave with little to nothing with them. So, when they arrive at shelter or advocacy center, they arrive with only their courage to have taken such an important step in their healing. PJs should be a sign of safe comfort and new beginnings at the very least. Once again, thank you to everyone who helped make Pajama Jam 2023 a success, and I hope this inspires others to help me create a bigger event next year. Everyone deserves to rest and sleep with the comfort of a safe peace of mind.
